Who runs this site

This website is run by Blockchainlearningca, Edmonton, which is accountable for the personal information described here and applies the ten fair information principles set out in PIPEDA. The site only provides education about crypto-assets. It is not a registered dealer, adviser, platform or money services business, and it collects none of the details such a business would need. Privacy questions: contact the person responsible for privacy at Blockchainlearningca via the email address in the footer, contact87@blockchainlearningca.shop.

Who receives your information

Your inquiry reaches our email provider and the hosting provider that runs the site, which handle it for us under our direction. These providers, or the servers they use, may be located outside Canada, in which case the laws of that country can apply to the information while it is there. Where advertising or measurement tags are used, the tag providers, for example Google, receive technical and usage data. We do not sell the text of your inquiry and we do not pass it to advertisers.

Accuracy and safeguards

We rely on you to give a correct email address, because we use it to reply. If it contains a mistake, send the inquiry again or write to contact87@blockchainlearningca.shop, and we will correct our records. We protect personal information with safeguards suited to how sensitive it is, such as access limited to people who need it, secure connections and trusted providers. No online system is free of risk. If a breach creates a real risk of significant harm to you, we will notify you and report it as the law requires.

Email messages and CASL

Your email address is used to answer your inquiry and for nothing else. Under Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL), commercial email needs consent, so we send none without your permission. Should we ever offer it, we would ask first, identify the sender and put a working unsubscribe mechanism in each message. You may also stop messages from us whenever you wish by writing to contact87@blockchainlearningca.shop. Spam can be reported to the Spam Reporting Centre of the Government of Canada.

Access and correction of your information

Anyone can ask us for access to the personal information we hold about them, ask for it to be corrected, and withdraw consent. Write to contact87@blockchainlearningca.shop, say what you are asking for and give the name and email address you used in your inquiry. We may ask for a little more information to confirm that the request is yours. We respond within 30 days of receiving it. If we need more time or must refuse, we tell you why and explain how you can complain.

Limiting collection and retention

We collect only what we need for the purposes stated above. We keep an inquiry and our reply no longer than needed to answer you and to resolve any follow-up, and technical data no longer than needed to run and protect the site. We may keep a record longer where the law requires it or where it is needed to resolve a dispute. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or make it anonymous. Your cookie choice stays in your browser until you change it or clear site data.

Your consent

We collect your name, email address and message with your consent, which you give by sending the inquiry form for the purposes stated above. We use and share them only for those purposes unless you agree to something else or the law requires it. You can withdraw your consent at any time, subject to legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice, by writing to contact87@blockchainlearningca.shop. Withdrawing may mean that we can no longer answer your inquiry. Optional analytics run only if you accept them in the cookie banner.

Information we collect and why

From the inquiry form we receive your name, your email address and the message you write, and we use them only to read and answer you. Please keep recovery phrases, passwords, wallet addresses and account numbers out of it. A visit also produces technical data: your IP address, device and browser type, the pages viewed and the referring page. This data helps us keep the site running and secure and see how it is used.

Challenging our compliance

To ask a privacy question or challenge our compliance, contact the person responsible for privacy at Blockchainlearningca via the email address in the footer, contact87@blockchainlearningca.shop. We will review what you tell us and respond. If you remain unsatisfied, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at https://www.priv.gc.ca/en/report-a-concern/, which asks that the concern first be raised with the organization concerned.

Date of this privacy notice

Last updated: October 2026. A revised version of this notice replaces this one on the same page, with the date changed, so check it before you send further personal information. Keeping it public and readily available is part of our commitment to openness. If a change does not suit you, you may stop using the site or ask us to delete your inquiry. Questions, or a request for a copy of the information held about your inquiry, can go to contact87@blockchainlearningca.shop, and we will answer at the email address you used.
